Saint Philip the Apostle Melkite Greek Catholic Mission was founded in 1989 to serve the Melkite Greek Catholic population and community of the Inland Empire (San Bernardino and Riverside counties). Nestled in the central San Bernardino valley, the Mission is minutes from desert spas, mountain resorts and sparkling beaches.Truly, Saint Philip’s serves as the “glorious gateway to the magnificent Mojave Desert!” Saint Philip’s community enjoys a wide variety of ministries and activities including a rich liturgical and spiritual life: Religious Education for children, Youth and Young Adult groups, Adult Education; Lazarus Evening serving an evening meal to the local homeless and working poor; and seasonal social opportunities and functions. |
